i’m a fall girl. i love the change in weather. i love that halloween, thanksgiving, christmas, and new year’s is all around the corner. and, most of all, i love fall colors.
say “goodbye” to the neon yellow of summer. this fall, the colors are full of richly-soaked jewel tones and highlights of light and airy shades. here are fall’s hottest colors. take note, ladies…
this shade of yellow is so odd, it’s fabulous. wear it as a separate in a skirt, blouse, jacket, or shoes.
i’m a little (a lot) obsessed with rust. my favorite way to wear is in a pant, but it looks equally great in any separate, dress, or accessory.
dark orange is a great accent color since it’s bold, but not quite as bold as tangerine. use it to complement larger, statement pieces.
deep teal is one of my all-time favorites. the jewel tone is incredibly flattering on most skin tones, and it can be worn in countless ways since it’s an effortless neutral.
eggplant is another rich tone that is lovely worn in many ways. i’ve seen maxi skirts in eggplant that are a total knockout.
you may have fallen in love with peach during the summer, and luckily it’s here to stay. make sure to try on peach before purchasing if it’s an item worn close to the face (it tends to wash out certain skin tones). otherwise, wearing it in a skirt, as a purse, or with a belt is a cute way to instantly feminize an outfit.
i love dark blue. royal blue is a hit this fall, and i couldn’t be more thrilled. this jacket also combines another one of fall’s trends, military theme (stay tuned for a list of fall’s other trends!). this hue is gorgeous in a bold jacket, a flowy scarf close to the face, or in a statement shoe (i love a bride in a dark blue shoe).
